You can't use mouse and controller at the same time in Outer Wilds :( Use arrow keys to look and RCtrl and RShift as LMB and RMB. Keys have multiple context-sensitive functions which are different on keyboard and controller, so there are some differences. In particular, lock on is bound to return instead of RCtrl.
